The last section was across the lawn. We wanted the track below grade so we could mow over it. There are cedar boards between to rails to reduce tripping and bumps. It is about 60'.
Over the Memorial Day weekend 2013 we had family over and the grand kids ran all day without incident. (Once the girls slowed down.)
Grandpa got the first loop. Grandma and the kids had number 2. Then Lauren went around. After that we changed the head end and Chris got the first loop the other way.
We have 4 divisions, the DavLee, Wilderness, Meadows and Northern. Now all that is left to do is maintenance forever.
