We have completed work on the summer project. It is a combination tunnel and car barn. It is 24’ long and has a siding inside. This allows the power and rolling stock to be parked out of the weather during the summer and stored for the winter.
The tunnel effect is helped by painting the interior flat black. It also has a nice tunnel sound when running through. We had some family and friends help in the final install. All the parts had been prefabbed during the summer. We were able to get it all put together over 2 days. Still some small trim work etc. to do.
